CreationSwap (Formerly Creativemyk.com) has been such a valuable site for Redemption Church. Being a young church plant we have few staff and really watch our budget. One of the sacrifices we have to make is in the area of artwork. We'd love to bring a person on staff that does all our artwork but it is simply not an option for us currently.

We hire some of our artwork out through Freelance. We found a great freelance artist named Beth.
Whenever we have something really over the top artistic we go to her. We found Beth by posting here.

For everything else, we make the artwork ourselves. A majority of that work falls to me. This has been a daunting task for me. I have taught myself a lot of video editing software and photoshop. I work really hard but I'm pretty limited in time and training.  Fortunately I found some websites that have helped me!

CreationSwap is an online meeting place where church graphic artists come together. Some art can be purchased. Artists can be met and hired for freelance work. Some artwork is free. That's right... Free. It's amazing the generosity of these artists to give away their artwork! 

The picture above is one such free artwork given away free on Creation Swap. The artist is Joe Cavazos. I don't know Joe but he helped me put together our Easter Series artwork by giving me his photoshop file above. Thank you Joe!

I took the file and did a few quick Text changes using fonts I found at dafont.com. This is what I ended up with.

Joe and the folks at CreationSwap saved me hours of work and provided a pro quality I don't have the skill to provide. Very thankful and thought I would share with you.
