Horreyah - an Egyption cry for Freedom

An Internet ad for the protest!

Horreyah is the Egyptian word for Freedom.

wow!
It has been an amazing 18 days watching the protests in Egypt lead to the removal of Autocratic President Mubarak. In 18 days a unified group of shouting people removed a man who was in supreme power for 30 years. The protesters did not use guns... but they stood face to face against an army that WAS carrying guns. Inspiring!

Here is a well done video that gave me goose bumps.

Something not mentioned in much of the reporting is that Christian Churches lack Religious Freedom. Christians are Targets of extremist violence and persecution.  On the past New Year’s Eve a suicide bombing of a church in Alexandria, Egypt, killed 20 worshipers and injured 100. Also recently six Coptic Christians were shot on a commuter train by a Muslim police officer, who was reported as shouting “Allahu Akbar” (“Allah is Great”) before opening fire.

THIS IS NOT WRITTEN TO STIR UP HATE... BUT TO STIR UP THE CRY FOR HORREYAH!

Be praying for Egypt, that all the people of that country experience Freedom from persecution and violence.

And what happens when those people are then free to "vote" Islamist radicals into power, just as the Palestinians voted Hamas into power.

What happens when those people who believe that someone who leaves Islam should be killed are then free to promote their anti-Israel anti-American agenda as the Muslim Brotherhood has.

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
