We often confine worship to music, singing, church services, skinny jeans... (joke) Might we include... thinking?
I just returned from leading worship at a marriage conference. Often God will give me something to say while leading worship. Usually it's knowledge oriented, sharing a scriptural revelation, or personal testimony.
This was different for me, but it was very effective.
For example, I read 1 Peter 2:9 at the beginning of our worship time.
"you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (NIV)
Then I asked "What does it look like for you to Declare Praise? To show forth praise? To Illustrate, reveal, demonstrate praise?"
"What does it look like? What would it be like if you went further in Declaring praise?"
Asking these questions and having the congregation answer it within themselves was transformative.
Have you ever found the power in Asking in worship?
What have you asked your Congregation?
What will you ask them?

During this conference I felt really strongly to ask questions.
