Lesson from a 5 year old - "You can't kill Spiderman"

I was sitting in a local McDonald's letting my 2 year old run out as much energy as possible when I saw this scene...

2 Kids about 5 years old.  Kid 1 came down the slide to be met by Kid 2 who was making the motion of shooting a gun at Kid 1.  By looks of it, it was a pretty serious automatic invisible pretend weapon.  This kid was shooting at Kid 1 for about 10 seconds.  Kid 1 just kept looking at him.  I was thinking he must have an invisible pretend bullet proof vest or something...  Then it happened.

Kid 1 looked at Kid 2 with a look of determination and announced - "You can't kill Spider Man!"  And with that Spidey went into kung-fu super hero moves Stan Lee has only dreamt of...

I don't know what bullets have been flying at you lately, it happens in life and it definitely happens in ministry, but I want to encourage you about who you are.

You Can't Kill Spider Man

You aren't a pretend super hero.  You are a real life power house.  Filled with His Spirit means you are filled with His Power (Acts 1:8)! Don't you know that greater is He that is within you and than He that is in the world? (1 John 4:4).

When God has your back, the bullets that are flying at you are about as effective as the ones coming out of this McDonald's Playground!  You might say that "No weapon formed against you will prosper..." (Isaiah 54:17)

Be encouraged and don't let anything stop you! Look the enemy in the eye and tell 'em "You can't kill Spider Man."
