Ministry is a Privilege!

We are holding our worship team auditions this Sunday.

We held a Creative Arts reception this past Sunday. We hung out after church and answered questions about the audition and requirements for being involved. It went very well and we generated some new interest.

One thing we want to make very clear to everyone is - Ministry is a Privilege!

Just because you want to sing or play an instrument, does not mean you get to do that in our weekend worship service! No one gets to do whatever they want.

Now don't get me wrong... We want people involved.  We want people to go from attenders to members to owners! We want new people to be stepping up and passionately serving alongside us.

BUT... ministry is a privilege.  You must earn the right to minister.

You must be reliable.
You must be committed.
You must be a tither.
You must be a consistent attender.
You must carry this church and ministry in your heart.
You must be a believer!
You must have the necessary talent.
You must represent us well, both in service, out of service, and ONLINE!

One of the major reasons we hold auditions is to let people know we are serious about ministry being a privilege.

  • What do you do to send out the message that Ministry is a Privilege?
