Being a church plant, we are HUGE believers is MOMENTUM and the SPECIAL EVENT!

Spring has been a particularly hard season for us this year. A lot of work and few new faces and salvations.

We need some Momentum! So we planned to pack April with not only EASTER but a special visitor event we called Friends day. (Yeah I know... "Friends day" isn't a great title and sounds cliche... We tried our best to come up with a better name, but Mrs. Jasper's Spring Time Jamboree wouldn't fit on invitation cards!!)

See... I couldn't get Jamboree to fit!

We all want people to invite their friends. Sometimes they do and we love it and thank them. Most of the time people don't invite their friends!  We basically made this sunday to tell our congregation "Here is a special day you can invite your friends to attend!"

What's so silly is... it actually works. We've done this for the past 4 years and it usually is our largest attended service of the year. It always gives us new faces to pursue for Jesus.

Hopefully these new faces will enjoy the day and return for Easter!

Every organization goes through Seasons! The tide of energy, finances, creativity, activity, productivity... will rise, and they will also fall.  What do you do when they fall?

Some organizations just wait out the season. "Things will pick back up around Christmas..."

We don't want to be like that. We want to reverse this low tide!

Doing something New will create momentum! Doing something special will as well. Getting your people to buy into the plan will reverse the tide.  You don't have to wait out the down season!  Form a plan!
